The kickoff for the United Football League is set for March 30th in Arlington, Texas, where anticipation is building for a clash between the USFL-champion Birmingham Stallions and the XFL-champion Arlington Renegades. This marks the beginning of a new era for spring football, and football enthusiasts like me are hopeful that it becomes a permanent fixture.

As a diehard football fan, the end of the NFL season often leaves me in a slump, where I want to "super sim" until the beginning of a new season in August. With the newly formed UFL, I am confident this league can produce an exciting and thought-out product for enthusiasts like us to cherish. Each player in this league has had a different path to get to this point, whether it is an NFL vet trying to climb the mountain and make it back to the promise land, a player fresh out of college trying to Make It (pun intended), or a player who is trying to live out the glory days of professional football they think they deserve.

Whatever the story is, I am here for it. It speaks to me deeply this year, as I have just put a bow on my own college football career. It is hard to let go, it really is, football does not kneel down when you want it to, and not everyone gets to end off on top like Peyton Manning, getting to ride off into the sunset as a Super Bowl champ. I am excited to see the passion of these players, coaches, and even refs as they try and ascend to the NFL. If one thing is for sure, the effort will always be at a maximum. Exciting plays, interesting players, and one common goal: making the league stick will be the reason my eyes are glued to the television the second foot hits leather on March 30th.

Awesome info!
